- Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharm.] is a two-year diploma course. It aims at teaching students about the process of inventory, purchase, marketing, and distribution with proper documentation for retail and wholesale of pharmaceuticals. The course curriculum is designed with deliberations from top professionals and academic bodies with an aim to nurture professions with professional, legal, ethical, and social values.

Course Duration - 2 year full time course
ELIGIBILTIY CRITERIA
- Should pass 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Math’s as compulsory subject.
- Minimum 45% for General category in PCM/PCB and Minimum 40% for OBC/SC/ST (only applicable for CG state domicile) in PCM/PCB (Also applicable for physical handicapped & female candidates)
NOTE
- No age limit for admission in Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy).
- Students pass out from open school are not eligible for admission in Pharmacy course as per Pharmacy Council of India norms.
Program Structure
The curriculum of D.Pharma. provides a broad-base education that has a strong foundation in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. The foundation in pharmacy sciences serves as a basis for the development of various clinical skills in the areas of pharmacy that are patient oriented. The program curriculum focuses on the use of drugs and well being of the patient. Under the drug modules, students learn the properties of drug molecules and how to use them for bio-transformation.
The product modules of the program provide an integrated overview of the healthcare product development process with focus on safety. Under the patient modules, students learn about the structure, disease state and the effect of drugs on the human body. Overall, students acquire a solid foundation in the knowledge of science, a high level of core competencies in pharmacy practice, work attitude, general skills and professional ethics for life-long employability.
The curriculum of D.Pharm. program at Kamla Pharmacy College (KPC) has been framed taking into consideration the responsibilities of the students to meet the demands of pharmaceutical industry, at the same time ensuring the patient care and pharmacy practice.
